PRIVACY* INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA of the participants to the Mondello Workshop 2025
organized by the INAF – Istituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali, Roma
Pursuant to Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 Pursuant to “Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the
Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC” (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR) and to legislative decree 30 June 2003, no. 196 “Italian Code on the Protection of Personal Data”. The personal data collected (first name, surname, Institution,
country, email address and telephone number) are necessary to make the registration to the Mondello Workshop 2025 via WEB page of the workshop and are also processed in order to manage the messages, on the basis of the user’s free, voluntary,
explicit choice, for the development of the workshop. Modalities of the processing The personal data will be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject. The Data Controller informs that the data will be processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against
accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organisational measures, pursuant to the EU Regulation 2016/679.

Data storage expiration time The personal data collected in the course of the registration for the Mondello
Workshop 2025 will be stored until the termination of the service - namely the publication of the proceedings - and then will be erased or processed in such a manner that the personal data can no longer attributed to a specific data subject. Where the data subject shall withdraw his or her consent, the personal data will be erased or anonymized within 72 hours. Data subject’s rights
Data subjects have the right to obtain from the CNR-ARTOV, where appropriate, access to their personal data as well as rectification or erasure of such data or the restriction of the processing concerning them, and to object to the processing (pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation).

Right to lodge a complaint If a data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him
or her infringes the Regulation, he or she has the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, or else to bring a judicial proceeding against the Guarantor pursuant to Article 79 of the Regulation.
